Review Moderation Policy
1. General Provisions
Madloba.info is an information directory of organisations operating in Georgia and other countries. Users of the website may leave reviews about organisations listed in the directory.
This Review Moderation Policy (hereinafter - the "Policy") defines:
- criteria for publication and removal of reviews;
- the procedure for reviewing complaints about reviews;
- review timelines;
- the procedure for appealing editorial decisions;
- the liability of the platform and users.
The Policy is a public document and is binding on all users of Madloba.info. It supplements the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy
The platform operator is Madloba Info Limited (registration number 2457193, Hong Kong).
2. Principle of Independence
Reviews on Madloba.info reflect the personal experience and opinions of users. Madloba Info Limited does not alter the content of reviews and does not remove them at the request of organisations - including those that are clients of paid placement. The presence or absence of a commercial relationship with an organisation does not affect moderation decisions.
3. Technical Requirements for Reviews
All reviews on Madloba.info:
- are linked to the user's Google account;
- are published under the name indicated in the Google account;
- cannot be published anonymously.
4. What Is Published - Principle of Freedom of Opinion
We take a broad view of freedom of expression in relation to reviews. The following types of content are published and are not subject to removal at the request of an organisation:
✅ Published and retained:
- reviews without detailed reasoning ("I don't recommend it", "I didn't like it", "poor service") - a subjective assessment is a lawful expression of opinion;
- critical reviews, including those with low ratings - provided they do not violate the criteria of section 5;
- reviews in any language, including Russian, English, or others - regardless of the organisation's language;
- reviews from recently registered accounts - a new account is not in itself grounds for removal;
- reviews expressing disagreement with pricing policy, service quality, or other aspects of an organisation's activities.
5. Removal Criteria - What Is Not Published
A review is removed if it contains one or more of the following elements:
5.1. Prohibited content — immediate removal:
- profanity, insults, threats directed at the organisation, its employees, or other users;
- personal data of natural persons (names of employees, phone numbers, addresses) published without their consent;
- content prohibited by Georgian law - incitement to violence, discriminatory statements, extremist materials.
5.2. False content - removal after verification:
- deliberately false statements about specific facts, refuted by documentary evidence (for example, a claim that an organisation is closed when it continues to operate);
- reviews from a verifiably established competitor of the organisation - where evidence of competitive affiliation exists;
- spam, duplicate reviews, advertising materials disguised as reviews.
5.3. What does NOT constitute grounds for removal:
- a subjective negative assessment without specific facts;
- the organisation's disagreement with the content of the review;
- a low star rating without accompanying text;
- the review is written in a language different from the organisation's language;
- the author's account was registered recently;
- the organisation is a paid placement client.
6. Complaint Review Procedure
6.1. Who May Submit a Complaint
A complaint about a review may be submitted by:
- a representative of the organisation about which the review was left;
- any user, if the review infringes their rights or contains their personal data.
6.2. How to Submit a Complaint
Complaints are sent to 📩 [email protected] from an official email address.
The complaint must include:
- a direct link to the specific review;
- the grounds for the complaint - which criterion from section 5 has been violated;
- evidence where available (documents, screenshots, other materials).
Complaints without a specific stated ground and without a link to the review will not be considered.
6.3. Review Timelines
| Type of Violation | Review Period |
|---|---|
| Profanity, threats, personal data | Immediately — within one business day |
| Knowingly false facts, competitor review, spam | Up to 3 business days — time is required to collect evidence |
6.4. Decision on a Complaint
Following review, the editorial team takes one of the following decisions:
- remove the review in full;
- retain the review without changes;
- request additional evidence from the complainant.
The complainant is notified of the decision by email.
7. Author Notification and Appeals Procedure
7.1. Notification of the Author upon Removal
If a review is removed, the author receives a notification to the email address linked to their Google account. The notification contains:
- information that the review has been removed;
- the reason for removal, citing the specific criterion from section 5;
- an explanation of the right to appeal.
7.2. Right of Appeal
The author of a removed review has the right to dispute the editorial decision and submit an appeal.
Appeals procedure:
- The author sends a reply to the removal notification to [email protected].
- In the email, the author explains why they consider the removal unjustified and why their review should be reinstated.
- The editorial team reviews the appeal within 5 business days.
- Following review, one of two decisions is taken: the review is reinstated or the removal is upheld.
- The decision reached following an appeal is final.
8. Liability of the Platform and Users
Madloba Info Limited acts as an intermediary platform. Responsibility for the content of reviews rests with their authors.
Madloba Info Limited:
- is not the author of user reviews;
- does not guarantee the accuracy of reviews published by users;
