A village church of the Most Holy Mother of God. Little is known about it: the dedication, the type and the fact that it is in use. Neither a century of building nor any architectural detail has survived.
Dzirovani lies on the road linking Tkibuli, Sochkheti, Orpiri, Tsutskhvati and Mghvime, between Tkibuli and the karst district of Tsutskhvati. The church stands directly on that line, which makes the church convenient for those driving to the caves: no detour is needed.
The parish is rural and services are infrequent. Dress modestly, women wear a headscarf. If the doors are locked, ask about the time in the village.
