Food was disappointing, but the service was outstanding. Having traveled a lot in Thailand and China, I was excited for a great meal, but the kitchen didn't meet my expectations. The menu looked nice, but the food didn't deliver. They got our order wrong, giving us noodle soup instead of the beef stir-fry we wanted. The noodles were undercooked and tasted raw. The fried rice had no flavor, and the Korean chicken was too oily and bland. On the bright side, the beer was cold and very good. What really saved the night was the staff; they were warm and provided excellent service, especially from a lovely woman from Myanmar. I wanted to enjoy this place because the people were so nice, but the food needs to improve to match the great service. Better kitchen training and authentic flavors would make a big difference.

The food was fantastic, with the chicken pad thai being a perfect 10/10. However, we faced an issue when paying, as there was an unexpected 18% charge added to our bill. The waitress explained it was due to card payment, which seemed illogical. If this was VAT or another charge, it should have been listed on the menu, but it wasn’t. This made the situation feel misleading and unfair. They eventually returned the 18% in cash. It’s unfortunate because the food was truly exceptional.
