The Ateshgah Temple was built very, very long ago, back in the distant fifth century. Previously, this place was a place of worship, the worship of fire. Unfortunately, the temple has almost completely turned into ruins, but even these ruins amaze the imagination and reveal their entire history.
To get inside the temple, you need to knock on the door and you will be opened almost immediately. This temple is protected by the National Committee of Georgia, which allows it to be preserved longer and provides protection from vandals who seek to encroach on historical sites. If you want to find some interesting, ancient place, then by all means come here.
