The church of St. Theodore stands in Ertatsminda village of Kaspi Municipality. It is one of the best known churches of Shida Kartli, and the village takes its name from its shrine.
Ertatsminda lies south of Kaspi, in the hills above the Mtkvari valley. People come here not only for services: the church is visible from afar and stands out from the surrounding roads.
Visiting is free, modest clothing is appropriate for a service, and a headscarf is useful for women. Photography inside is best agreed with the attendants.
