The third church site of Chobiskhevi also exists as a naeklesiari: the dedication has not survived and only the place itself is known. It lies east of the other two, further along the slope.
The nearest marked church outside the village, the Saint George church in Dabadzveli, is about two kilometres away. The Borjomi gorge is narrow and its villages stretch along the road and the river. Coniferous forest comes right up to the yards.
Do not move objects left by the walls. The site remains part of the everyday life of the area, and that deserves respect.
Tips
- Leave spare time for the climb.
- In summer bring a hat, as there is almost no shade.
- Take your litter away with you.
Getting there
- Leave the car at the nearest street and continue on foot.
- Navigate by the coordinates, as there may be no signs on the approach.
