Sori lies between Oni and Ambrolauri, about thirteen kilometres from the first and twelve from the second. The Archangel parish of the same village stands about a kilometre away, the church of Shardometi four, the Trinity church of Parakheti five. The valley here is wide and the road along the Rioni passable all year.
The church is a village one, services are not held every day, and it is easier to get inside when someone is about. Dress modestly, a headscarf for women, quiet inside. The two shrines of the village are easy to confuse, so follow the coordinates. Downstream lies Oni, upstream begins the climb towards Shovi.
