A church of the Mother of God known by the name Naliba. Marian dedications are the second most frequent in Georgian villages after Saint George, and their chief day, Mariamoba, falls at the end of August.
The place belongs to the Arjevan Sarvani area, north of Tsalka. Another shrine here, the ruins of the other church of the village, stands about three kilometres away, and the naeklesiari of Tejisi and the ruins of Gedaklari another three and a half.
All four churches fit into a single trip along the rim of the upland. The rules are those of any working church: covered shoulders and knees, quiet, and a headscarf is useful for women.
