The church of the Virgin Mary stands in Khorkheli village in Akhmeta Municipality. It is a hall building of about ten metres by five and a half, laid of cobble and restored at a later date.
Nothing further is known: neither how the apse is arranged, nor where the entrances and windows sit, nor whether any murals remain. Such brevity is usual for churches that were surveyed only in passing, so no architectural particulars are given here.
Sources assign the building to the late Middle Ages, the span from the 16th to the 18th century. How the space looks after the restoration is not reported by the sources.
