Architecture and Bridges

New Tbilisi grows right next to the old city, and the line between them often runs through a single frame. The gallery shows the glass Bridge of Peace over the Mtkvari by day and lit up at night, the metal tubes of the Rike Park concert hall and the petal roofs of the Public Service Hall on the embankment. The dark Biltmore tower rises above the city, while glass office towers and residential complexes fill the newer districts. Bridges are a theme of their own: a stone arch road bridge over the Mtkvari, the red cable stayed bridge in Bagebi and footbridges over wooded ravines. The Mikheil Meskhi Stadium completes the set.
