An ancient Svan tower on top of a hill near Turtle Lake is a little-known spot with magnificent views of Tbilisi and the surrounding area. Although you can’t go inside the tower, its architecture and circular observation deck make the place attractive to history and nature lovers.
The path to the tower includes two stages: the ascent from Vake Park to the lake (on foot or by cable car for 1 GEL) and then a short but steep climb to the tower. There are panoramic benches at the top.
