The English book selection is limited. It's a good place for books about Georgia and for learning the Georgian language.

During my second visit to the store, the service was noticeably better. On my previous visit, I encountered rude staff who didn't speak English. This time, though, they seemed to have made improvements by having an English-speaking staff member. The young woman who assisted me was very knowledgeable about Caucasus literature and helped me with everything I needed.

Charming little shop, but the selection is quite limited. Felt a bit let down as I was trying to find English translations of Georgian authors, but there was nothing available.

Charming little café next to a bookshop. You get a code for 2 hours of wifi when you make a purchase, and I guess you have to buy something else to extend the time. My girlfriend picked up 2 books here for £22, which seems reasonable.

Excellent variety of books, and the prices are reasonable, though not the lowest. The place feels cozy, and the staff is welcoming.

The staff here are extremely rude, and I believe the manager needs to take action. They clearly have no idea how to treat customers. There's noticeable racism towards foreigners. The employee at the bookstore has poor English skills. She barely understood me even though I spoke in English. I hope the manager addresses this issue soon. Thank you.

The bookstore is terrible. I advise against going there. The staff is incredibly rude and uninterested. The manager acts arrogantly and shows racist behavior, treating foreigners like they're worthless. I was utterly disappointed, and this experience ruined my trip to Georgia.

The bookstore has a great selection, but the staff is incredibly rude and not helpful at all. Their English skills are almost nonexistent. I get that this is a country where people speak their own language, but in an English-focused bookstore, if the staff can't understand customers, that's just not okay. Please, ask the manager to remind employees to be kind and helpful instead of rude. The staff member I dealt with was a Georgian guy. I really hope you can hire someone who knows both books and the language well. 🙏

ეს კაფე და წიგნების მაღაზია ჩემთვის განსაკუთრებული ადგილია. აქ მოვდივარ როგორც ბედნიერ დროს, ისე მაშინ, როცა გულში რაღაცას ვინახავ. თუ მარტო მინდა სიმშვიდეში დროის გატარება, კითხვა, წერა ან მუშაობა, ყოველთვის აქ ვარ. მეგობრებთან საუბრისთვისაც იდეალურია: მივდივარ და სხვებსაც ვპატიჟებ. თბილისის მასშტაბით ამ ადგილს ანალოგი არ აქვს. როცა ქალაქიდან შორს ვარ, ხშირად მენატრება აქაურობა. აქ ყოველთვის მომყავს მზარეული ვანოს გულთბილი ღიმილი და უგემრიელესი თურქული ყავა. სულ ეს არის, რაც მჭირდება ბედნიერებისთვის. ☺️

This spot is fantastic! Elene, in particular, is amazing. She's always cheerful, incredibly helpful, and has the best book recommendations.

There's a café right across the street where you can enjoy the books you just purchased.

The staff here is unbelievably rude and offers no support to authors, which is a huge letdown for a bookstore. My disappointment is immense, especially after being a loyal customer for four years. I had hoped to place copies of my second book, about my teaching experiences in Georgia, on their shelves and maybe even host a book launch. They ignored my email, and when I visited in person, a very rude woman asked, "and why should we help you?" Avoid this place. It's no wonder Amazon is taking over when independent bookstores treat people this way.

Terrible experience. Promised a 20% discount but never applied it. And charging 6.33 for a bag? Ridiculous.
