В музее можно найти интересные средневековые барельефы. На двух этажах представлены экспонаты изобразительного искусства. Есть несколько работ Кандинского и Кранаха старшего. Однако, в целом, выставка оставляет впечатление средненькой. Цена билета немного высоковата.

The museum was a fantastic experience, with a vast collection of paintings to enjoy. If you're in town, it's definitely worth a visit, and the National Museum is just a short 5-minute walk away.

Completely misleading! The app says Monday is the closed day. But today, on a Tuesday, it's closed.

Prices for students are fair, but the standard adult ticket is less so, which seems common for museums in Tbilisi. The art collections, featuring a mix of European, Russian, and Georgian pieces, were enjoyable. However, the staff seemed to keep a close eye on visitors. The woman who handled our tickets was very kind and understanding, especially with our tourist misunderstandings.

Не понимаю, почему здесь иначе. Пустота в залах и так заметна, а хорошие снимки могли бы привлечь больше людей. Кассиру следовало бы знать права людей с инвалидностью, а не делать удивлённое лицо.

The art is impressive, and the second floor has a really stylish design, which is definitely a positive. However, the museum is quite small, and the €7 ticket price doesn't offer good value for what you get, especially considering it's in Georgia. Overall, the negatives outweigh the positives.

The collection boasts a wide variety of paintings and styles. However, the artworks are so closely displayed that it becomes difficult to focus on individual pieces. I found it challenging. Also, the staff was not very friendly.

The museum is quite impressive and modern. Everything was wonderful, except for one aspect: many paintings on the second and third floors were too brightly lit, which made it hard to appreciate the masterpieces fully.

Положительные стороны: залы просторные, отсутствуют очереди. Недостатки: освещение оставляет желать лучшего, картины засвечены, их неудобно рассматривать. Смотрители постоянно делают замечания и следуют за посетителями. Стоимость в 40 лари кажется высокой для такой небольшой коллекции. Коллекция грузинских художников периода 1900-1930 годов интересная, содержит как известные работы, так и менее известные. Временная экспозиция подобрана хаотично. Освещение, к сожалению, очень плохое.

The admission prices are really high, the collection is rather small, and the lighting is awful—just a lot of glare on the artwork. Overall, the experience was disappointing with more downsides than upsides.

Это небольшой музей с разнообразной коллекцией, распределенной на три этажа. Самый интересный раздел, на мой взгляд, находится на первом и четвертом этажах — древности и искусство XX века. Действительно стоит посмотреть. В музее просторно, и есть лифт, что является большим плюсом. Однако стоимость билета слишком высокая — 40 лари; и сотрудников здесь значительно больше, чем посетителей (возможно, потому что мы были вне сезона; в тот момент было только нас двое с сыном и еще одна пара). Мы не заказывали экскурсию, хотя такая возможность есть. С детьми я бы не советовал идти, они могут заскучать.

Все замечательно, кроме входного билета на 40 лари и того, что охранники постоянно следуют за тобой. Непонятно, зачем это нужно, учитывая камеры на каждом шагу. Это немного напрягает.

This place is the top spot in Tbilisi for art spanning from the 6th to the 20th century. Appreciate you making it accessible to us! :)

It was fine, something to do if you have some spare time.

Extremely rude staff. They followed my partner and me around on every floor. When I went to the restroom, two security guards came in and tried to intimidate me. The entry fee was very expensive, and when I paid, they threw my change back at me. One staff member even yelled at me because a floor was closed, but there were no signs indicating this. The staff is disrespectful and lacks manners. The entrance is not obvious. There isn’t much to see, and it’s overpriced. This place is where happiness goes to die. If you want to waste 80 lari (£22), this is the place.

I visited this gallery today, and I have to say it's the worst art gallery I've ever been to worldwide. The staff was incredibly unprofessional, starting from the ticket seller to the curators and security. They were rude and intimidating — I've never been to a place so unpleasant. It's a shame because the art was quite interesting. Don't bother going...

Музей находится в плачевном состоянии, забор полностью разрушен, гвозди торчат, и портфель разорван. Я видел, как люди несколько раз сильно царапались, и никто не обращает внимание на это. Удивительно, что все это происходит в центре города! Отношение к этой проблеме ужасное!! Уже больше года наблюдаю за этим, и никакие службы не хотят браться за решение. Будьте осторожны.

Это место поражает своим удивительным разнообразием произведений искусства! Я наслаждался каждым моментом пребывания здесь и провел несколько часов, но, честно говоря, можно было бы уделить целый день. Я настоятельно рекомендую этот художественный музей всем художникам, будь то профессионалы, начинающие или просто любители искусства. Этот музей стал одним из моих любимых, и я с удовольствием вернулся бы в Тбилиси, чтобы еще раз насладиться его великолепием.

Un museo ben organizzato e veramente affascinante. Credo sia il migliore a Tbilisi.

Забор музея в ужасном состоянии. Торчат гвозди, порвали мне портфель. Не раз видел, как люди поранились. Никому дела до этого нет. И это в самом центре города! Ужасное отношение. Больше года так стоит, и все безразличны. Никто не хочет этим заняться. Будьте осторожны.

Several exhibits were closed, so there wasn't much to see. The entrance fee seemed a bit high given the museum's size, in my opinion. However, there are some truly unique works by Georgian artists worth seeing.

Замечательный музей. Произведения З. Церетели поражают. Можно увидеть не только картины, но и графические наброски из альбомов. Даже пожарные шланги выглядят как современные арт-объекты.

The store on the first floor is outrageously overpriced and designed purely to take visitors' money!

The variety of work here is incredible! I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. I spent a few hours but easily could have stayed all day. This art museum is a must-see for artists, aspiring artists, or any art lover. It has quickly become one of my favorites, and I'd gladly return to Tbilisi just for another visit.

The museum consists of four floors. The entrance fee is 15 lari per person for all floors.

Музей искусств им. Шалвы Амиранашвили – это частный музей в Тбилиси, насчитывающий порядка 3500 работ от 80 художников, собранных за последние 70 лет. Выставочные залы занимают 4-6 этажи. Помимо музея здесь расположены ресторан, кафе, фитнес-центр, конференц-зал. В выставочных залах людей практически нет.

Неймовірне місце! Галерея настільки обширна, що на її огляд може не вистачити цілого дня, особливо якщо зупинятись біля окремих робіт. Все виглядає дуже масштабно і вражаюче. Надихаюче середовище!

Closed at 1pm on Sunday. Any changes to opening hours, especially due to COVID, should be updated on the website and clearly posted at the entrance.

Located near Freedom Square in Tbilisi, this museum holds a stunning collection of around 140,000 pieces highlighting Georgian, Oriental, Russian, and other European art. As part of the Georgian National Museum, it stands out as a leading cultural spot in the country. The variety and richness of the exhibits offer an enlightening experience for anyone interested in arts and culture.

Incredible experience. Some displays were truly mesmerizing. A few areas could use a bit more explanation, but overall it was a delightful visit.

The staff constantly chat with each other through some kind of phones, and it's incredibly loud the whole time. There are no discounted tickets for students. Even art students have to pay the full price.
