Nikoloz Melitonovich Baratashvili is a very famous Georgian poet, as well as a successful translator.
Unfortunately, throughout his creative life, the public did not recognize the poet's talent, and the first editions with his poems began to be published a few years after his death.
Baratashvili was a romantic and wrote about the love of nature, his native country and the people around him.
To date, his works are considered classics of Georgian literature and are included in the school curriculum.
The House Museum is dedicated to his life and work, and every week various exhibitions and literary evenings are organized here.
