The Museum of Soviet Occupation occupies a unique place in the cultural landscape of Georgia. It represents historical evidence of the period of Soviet occupation of Georgia from 1921 to 1991. The collection includes rare documents, photographic materials, personal items and installations, many of which were carefully collected from the archives of the SBU, museums and private collections. The museum also offers educational programs highlighting the stories of the heroes who fought for the country's independence.

Opening hours: Every day from 10:00 to 18:00, except Mondays.

- Schoolchildren and students – 50 tetri.
- Adults – 10 GEL.
- Excursions in Georgian – 25 GEL, in English – 45 GEL.
- Free entry: children under 6 years old, museum staff, ICOM members, people with disabilities, refugees.
Exhibitions and educational programs.
The museum regularly hosts temporary exhibitions showcasing collections from both local and international museums. In addition, since 2005, the museum has had an educational programs department that focuses on expanding visitors' knowledge of the museum's collections.
At the moment, the museum is located in the building of the Simon Janashia Museum, but in the near future it is planned to move to its own building, which will allow for an even more complete presentation of the unique history and cultural heritage of Georgia.
