A homemade restaurant known to the old-timers (on Atoneli Street). Despite the name "Cafe", it's more like a small family restaurant in the basement of an old house.
Daphna specializes in Western Georgian cuisine: here you can try Megrelian elarji (corn porridge with cheese), khashi soup in the morning, khinkali, etc.
Forbes has named Cafe Daphna among the best Georgian restaurants in Tbilisi for its soulfulness.
The interior is very simple, but the soul of this place is in the hostess, who often greets the guests herself. There are also lean/vegetarian positions.
