You can get acquainted with the works of Georgian artists at the Dmitry Shevarnadze National Gallery in Tbilisi – one of the central exhibition areas of the National Museum.
Here, in several exhibition halls, works of contemporaries of Georgian art are presented. You can see paintings by both famous artists and authors who are not familiar to the general public.
Besides painting, there are works of graphics, sculptures, photographs, samples of decorative and applied art and other works by Georgian masters of the twentieth century.
The gallery comfortably houses a restoration workshop, classrooms, and a souvenir shop. Temporary thematic exhibitions and sightseeing events are regularly held, including in Russian and English.
