The Armenian Church of the Red Gospel was built back in the eighteenth century and at that time was the tallest Armenian church in Tbilisi.
The church building itself is made of expensive red brick and even in a dilapidated state it has retained its grandeur. This place is often included in the programs of walking tours and for good reason.
The Church of the Red Gospel not only still shows its beautiful grandeur, but also preserves the history of the city of Tbilisi. There is something magically mystical about the place, so we definitely recommend that you come and see the church. You won't regret it!
