The Museum of Samtskhe-Javakheti State University is located in the municipality of Akhaltsikhe, at the address: st. Shota Rustaveli, Akhaltsikhe. This cultural site was founded in 2017 and has the legal status of a legal entity of public law (LELP). It is a unique collection that includes paintings, engravings, stone and wood carvings, as well as materials, objects and documents related to the events taking place at Samtskhe-Javakheti State University. The exhibition also contains unstudied epigraphic materials and a variety of linguistic artifacts, including Georgian, Ottoman and Greek. Open to the public daily from 09:00 to 18:00. It is important to note that entry is free for children under 6 years of age, employees of Georgian and foreign museums, ICOM members (with a card and ID), as well as for people with disabilities presenting a valid ID, and refugees.
