Vanion Daraseli House Museum

The Vanion Daraseli House Museum is located in the village of Kakhati, Zugdidi Municipality, and was founded in 1993. This museum has the status of a non-entrepreneurial (non-profit) legal entity called "Local Center for Museum Management" under the Municipality of Zugdidi. The museum is a memorial complex that houses a variety of artifacts, books and photographs. Visitors can view a rich collection of memorial items. Open daily, except Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 to 18:00. Entrance for visitors is free, with the exception of employees of Georgian and foreign museums, ICOM members (with presentation of an identity card), children under 6 years of age, as well as people with disabilities upon presentation of an appropriate identity card and refugees.
