Sokar/Black Sea Terminal LLC, managed by the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), began its operations on May 16, 2008. The terminal, located in the Kulevsky port, specializes in the transshipment of hydrocarbons and petrochemical products with an annual capacity of up to 10 million tons.
The terminal's main services include the receipt of hydrocarbons and petrochemical products by rail, transshipment into tanks, storage, and transshipment to and from sea vessels. The terminal also operates berthing facilities. The terminal maintains a high level of service, operating in accordance with legal requirements and complying with international standards and norms.
The terminal's integrated management system is certified to ISO 9001 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System). This confirms that all control processes at the terminal are fully compliant with international standard requirements.
All products stored and transshipped at the terminal are insured by world-famous premium insurance companies, which guarantees additional reliability and safety in the operation of the terminal.
