The Museum of Local Lore presents guests of Georgia with a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the cultural and historical heritage of the city of Oni. The exhibition fund contains artifacts from various eras: Mesolithic, Neolithic, Bronze, Iron and antique periods. The central element of the museum's exposition are samples of the Colchian culture: coins, bronze axes and spearheads.
The ethnographic exhibition preserves metal products of labor and everyday life of local residents: wooden dishes, peasant tools, clothing and fabrics. Of particular interest is the collection of church relics, weapons and military armor, among them it is worth paying attention to Russian, Ukrainian, foreign and oriental sabers, daggers.
Also in the museum there are fragments of ancient churches, photographs of Rachin temples and paintings by local artists.
