Zhinvali Tower

The Zhinvali Tower is an architectural monument located in the municipality of Dusheti, 0.5 km north of the village of Zhinvali, in the cemetery of the Bichnigaureb district. Built in the late Middle Ages, the tower is a gable structure, two storeys high, made of sandstone and cobblestones. The first floor of the tower is blank, while on the second floor there is a narrow architrave entrance located on the side of a straight wall. Currently, the tower is covered with a cylindrical arch. This place may be of interest to lovers of history and architecture, offering the opportunity to get acquainted with the unique features of the medieval architecture of the region.
