Giuaani Winery is a family-owned winery located in the historic village of Manavi, Sagarejo Municipality, Kakheti. The Giuashvili family’s winemaking history dates back to the 1800s, and a new era began in 2010 with the founding of Giuaani. The name comes from the Giuashvili family name and the “Juaant” area, as locals call it.
The winery combines traditional qvevri methods with modern technology. Giuaani wines have won international awards, including medals at the 2019 Qvevri Wine Competition. A total of about 400,000 bottles are produced per year. The property includes a wine cellar, a garden, an outdoor pool, the Kakhetian restaurant, and a boutique hotel built in 2021. Guests can enjoy tours, tastings, packages of 4 or 6 wines and local cuisine.
