Mukhran Machavariani House Museum

The house-museum of Mukhrana Machavariani is located in the village of Argveti, in the Sachkhere municipality of Georgia. Opened in 2012, the museum has the status of a non-profit legal entity and is the cultural center of the Sachkhere municipality. It is a memorial museum with a rich collection of 300 items reflecting the life and work of Mukhrana Machavariani. Open daily except Mondays from 11:00 to 21:00. The entrance ticket costs 1 GEL. However, children under 6 years of age, employees of Georgian and foreign museums, ICOM members (with a card and ID), people with disabilities (with a valid ID) and refugees can visit the museum for free. The museum offers a permanent exhibition of memorial items of Mukhrana Machavariani. It also actively interacts with public schools and holds the annual Mukhranoba event as part of educational programs.
