On the Black Sea coast, like a pearl crowning the natural wealth of Georgia, lies the Shekvetili dendrological park. This is an amazing place where thousands of amazing plants, both local flora and exotic inhabitants from all over the world, are collected on an expanse of 60 hectares.
The park is divided into two parts, each of which tells its own unique story. The first is dedicated to the endemic tree species of Georgia, standing proudly on 18 hectares of land and counting in its ranks more than 200 giants from 29 unique species brought here from all over the country. The second zone, covering the remaining 42 hectares, is a collection of centuries-old plants and exotic beauties that arrived from five continents.
This magnificent collection not only showcases the diversity of the world's flora, but also serves as a source of health, beauty, education and science for the entire region.
Shekvetili Arboretum is not just a walk among plants, it is a journey through continents and times, an immersion in the amazing world of nature. The park will reveal its secrets to everyone who seeks to learn more about the plant world or simply wants to enjoy its beauty and grandeur. Ideal for family holidays, educational excursions and private moments of peace among majestic nature.
