POTENTIAL ROBBERY ALERT! Exchanged currency here on 08/25/2025 at 14:40. Handed over 100 USD and asked to exchange 50 USD to GEL. The staff member completed the transaction and gave me 134.50 GEL for 50 USD, claiming it was done. However, no change for the remaining 50 USD was given. I insisted that I had given 100 USD. She showed me 50 USD from the till and claimed that’s what I gave her. I argued and requested a recheck. After reviewing on her computer and recounting the money, she finally returned my 50 USD. No apology was made. This doesn’t seem like an honest mistake. Authorities should scrutinize all transactions here. The staff or the company might be engaging in suspicious activities.
