    The history of the holiday

    The Tbilisi Meeting is held annually. The symbolism of the event is harvesting, fertility. The first time the holiday was held in 1979. At the end of autumn, the whole crop ripens, and the main guest here is ripe grapes, from which incredible things will be made later Georgian wine.

    The time of the holiday is the last weekend of October. In the period 1989-1994, the event was not celebrated due to the difficult economic situation of the country.
