The Ministry of Agriculture of Georgia is located in the historical part of the city of Batumi, within walking distance from the cable car.

The Ministry is authorized to issue an international certificate to pet owners for traveling abroad.

Before receiving the certificate, it is necessary to prepare the following documents in advance: a pet passport with marks on antiparasitic treatment and timely vaccination, a veterinary certificate. They need to be done in a veterinary clinic, the presence of an animal is optional.

The international certificate for travel abroad is valid for 72 hours from the date of issue. The state fee is 50 lari for registration in 24 hours, with accelerated issuance — 100 lari.

I also brought the pet and my passport. It was necessary to pay in advance, bringing a receipt for the subsequent procedure. Without a receipt, the service is not provided. There you are also given an account number for payment of 100 GEL. It is important to note that you can pay only in banks. The registration process was quick, just 15 minutes, and at the end they took a picture of my cat.
