Kemal Turmanidze is a Georgian artist and sculptor who created the ethnographic museum "Borjgalo", located in the village of Kakhaberi.
Kemal Turmanidze personally created all the mannequins and installations that can be seen in the museum today. This is the first ethnographic museum in Adjara, in which a full-fledged picture of Georgian life during the 19th and 20th centuries is staged.
The salon-workshop presents the life of poor working-class residents: someone knits on a loom, a grandfather and grandson weave a basket, a young lady preens at the dressing table, a little girl learns to write and much more.
