An incredible piece of art created by Tamar Kvesitadze, Rotation is a moving sculpture depicting a man and a woman. The sculpture is made of metal and glass, and each of its elements is imbued with deep symbolism. The rotating female figure, within which the male figure moves, amazes the imagination and evokes reflection on the eternal themes of human relationships, love and its manifestations.
Opened on December 21, 2011 on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street, the sculpture occupies a central place in the circle of streets, opposite the House of Justice. Before becoming part of the urban architecture of Batumi, "Rotation" delighted spectators at the Venice Biennale in 2010.
