The name “Thilnari” means “nut”, as the village used to be famous for its nut plantations.
Nowadays, the main asset of the village is natural resources, and the waterfall is one of them. Traveling through the mountains, climbing and descending the slopes, watching the charming Georgian nature, you can swim in the reservoirs formed due to the flow of mountain rivers and waterfalls.
Such water is crystal clear and, of course, cold. During the walk, the locals will greet you in a friendly manner. If you are hungry, then there is a unique opportunity to go fishing right here, and the trout caught will be cooked and served in the best traditions of Georgia.
